All of our sales are subject to the following terms and conditions. Nothing contained within these affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If there is anything you don’t understand or if you require further clarification please contact us.
As we provide a bespoke service, whatever your celebration, we will be happy to discuss your requirements and provide a quote depending on the complexity of your order.
The bespoke price for your order will be stated on your quote. You agree to pay the full price to the Company in accordance with the quote after the details are checked and agreed by you.
A non refundable, non transferrable deposit of 50% is payable when you order your cake. The remainder is due one week before delivery/collection. Full payment is required if your order is due in less than a week away. Full details will be provided with your bespoke order. Orders are only deemed to be accepted once full payment has been received within the relevant timeframe.
Payment in full is required between one month (wedding cakes) and one week (celebration cakes) before delivery. Full details will be provided with your bespoke order.
In the unlikely event that payment is subsequently declined, the order will not be completed or released until alternative funding arrangements have been agreed and payment is made in full. Subsequent completion of the order will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. The Company accepts no responsibility for any loss howsoever caused for non-delivery under these circumstances the Customer will be responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result of payment failure.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, or credit/debit card. Cheques are not accepted at this time.
In the unlikely event that you require an alteration to be made to your order, please advise us as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to fulfil your request, however in rare cases this cannot be guaranteed. Depending on the nature of the alteration an increase in cost may be incurred.
Specification of order
In the unlikely event that decorative pieces, stands, specific colours (eg ribbons) or component parts are no longer available we will advise you as soon as possible and discuss further options. We will endeavour to re-design the cake as closely to the original design as possible using replacement products.
Collection, Delivery and Set Up
All products are available for collection or delivery.
For deliveries, a convenient date and time will be arranged on confirmation of the order. Please ensure that somebody will be in to sign for the delivery. An additional charge may be incurred if the product has to be redelivered. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery information is given. The Company accepts no responsibility for any loss or consequential loss incurred by the Customer as a result.
Should you require set up at a venue, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided the Company with the set up details and that arrangements have been made with the venue for the location and display. The Company cannot be held responsible for the location at the venue. Please ensure this is level, stable and strong enough for the item. For delivery and set up at a venue, please ensure that somebody is available to sign for the delivery – this can be a member of the venue staff.
No responsibility for delivered items is accepted once the product has been signed for.
No responsibility for collected items is accepted once the product has left the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds
As we offer a bespoke service we are usually not able to re-sell an order, depending on the notice given and the complexity of the order a percentage refund may be offered. Please check the terms and conditions of your bespoke order for details.
Please note that no person shall have entitlement to copy or reproduce in any form, or otherwise make use of any image, photograph, design or other document or items produced by or on behalf of the Company without prior written consent of the Company.
Publication and Promotional Rights
By agreeing your order and paying your deposit, the Customer agrees that the Company is the sole designer and owner of the final design. All rights in any original designs created and designed by the Company shall remain the exclusive property of the Company. We reserve the right to use any image of a Customers cake made by the Company for publication after the delivery date unless previously agreed in writing between the Customer and the Company.
The Customer has no ownership rights over any design. Exclusivity of cake designs between our Customers is not guaranteed unless the Customer commissions an exclusive design.
Please note that sponge tiers/cupcakes/sweet treats may not be completed until the day prior to the event to ensure that everything arrives with you as freshly as possible. Please pre-arrange any viewings, the Company accepts no liability for any omissions or errors if they are not viewed by the Customer prior to the event.
Whilst your chosen produce may not contain nuts or nut products, they are prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used. Raw materials used may not be free from dairy, wheat or gluten. Allergy information is provided with all bespoke orders.
